This may be a kitchen transformation for the record books! This family contacted us to remodel their small kitchen in Chicago, and that’s exactly what we did! The existing kitchen was very old, outdated and cluttered, with appliances that were decades old and hardly working. It was just not a functional space at all, and the homeowners were getting increasingly frustrated with it. Check out how the kitchen looked before the remodel:
As you can see, it was a bit of a mess and not functional whatsoever, not to mention an eyesore. Our kitchen designer Frank helped the customers pick out all new materials and decide on a scope of work for the kitchen remodeling process. They agreed to completely gut the kitchen, which means tear out everything…cabinets, countertops, backsplash tile, sink, faucet, appliances, plumbing, and flooring, down to the bare bones.
Here are few images of that demolition in action:
Frank and the customers picked out all new materials to replace the old ones. This included granite countertops, solid wood cabinets, subway tile backsplash, porcelain tile flooring, stainless steel appliances, paint and baseboards.
Here’s how it turned out after we completed the renovation:
And here’s a side-by-side comparison:
We are definitely very proud of how beautiful this transitional kitchen remodel turned out. It has a timeless look to it that will hold up very well in the future. Special thanks to Frank and our hardworking crew of subcontractors that came in and tackled this difficult job. They even helped clean up the clutter before starting demolition. We’d also like to thank the customers for giving us an opportunity to beautify their home! We hope they enjoy their new kitchen for many years to come.
